if you need a 16mm projectionist - please, let me know! i'll come and load the films, change the lamp, roll the reels and make sure the image is in right quality and position. all this is because i'm one of the members of the team which is in charge of one projector in Pompidou (recent exhibition). now, i'm really approaching to one of my dreams/wishes - to have a small private cinema in Vilnius, or at least have my own film projector and show films to friends..
yesterday i went to another one noise musi concert. it was WOW! it took place in Sèvres (a beautiful green district outside of Paris, but really close) a place, called "manufacture". it's kind of lofts of artists and an open space between with old sofas, gliders, lounges etc. to chill around. amazing. and punks, and many different types of underground people gathered to listen Tommi Keränen, one of Avanto (experimental music and film festival) organiser from Finland and Talibam!, a noise band from New York. it's been a while i didn't hear a band improvising noise and changing rythms for about 50 min non-stop! felt like from those Grateful Death or King Crimson 3-4 hours sessions, when everyone forgets the matter of time, takes speed and travels in and around. it was good!
